Tiffany White, Owner and Director, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist MT3797
Hi Parents! 😊
As a former teacher and a parent, I understand how much you want your child to feel happy, confident, and successful at school.
Twenty years ago, I was teaching first grade with Orange County Public Schools during the day and attending graduate school in children's mental health at UCF at night. It was during that time that I became deeply committed to understanding children's emotional development and how to best support them- and the adults who love them.
To provide comprehensive care for children, teenagers, and their families, I pursued interdisciplinary education in Couples and Family Therapy, School Counseling, Play Therapy, Women's Mental Health, and Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. My goal was to understand children's development within the context of their families, relationships, schools, and communities.
Today, I'm grateful to work alongside an incredible team of providers at Heart Play Institute. We share one simple goal: helping children enjoy being kids. We want them to feel safe, build meaningful friendships, believe in themselves, and have adults in their lives who understand what they need to thrive.
We also enjoy supporting women throughout motherhood- from pregnancy and postpartum to parenting teenagers and launching young adults. Supporting a child's well-being often begins with supporting you. Therapy and parenting sessions offer dedicated time to focus on yourself. 🩷
We hope to be a trusted resource for your family.
Let's talk soon!
– Tiffany
